Powerful TETRA communications on demand
The DAMM mobile communications system, Rapid Deployable TetraFlex (RDT), is a fully featured, pre-configured TETRA mobile system. Among a wide range of potential applications, RDT is especially effective in emergencies such as traffic accidents, natural disasters, or search and rescue operations in remote rural areas. RDT can be easily moved to where it is needed, and almost completely involved, regardless of whether there is any network in the area.
Autonomous, reliable and safe
The fully autonomous RDT mobile communications system comes in its own rugged housing for easy and safe transportation and is designed for deployment in disaster situations. For optimum mobility, the suitcase is mounted on wheels and equipped with a telescopic handle. RDT allows first responders or first responders to instantly set up a reliable and fully configured on-site emergency communications system, which can then serve as a reliable, temporary command center for on-site radio users. RDT also supports important security applications, such as temporary deployment during VIP visits or special conferences. The system was designed to meet the highest requirements of safety, security and reliability, especially in situations where the life and safety of people depend on reliable communication.
High performance, low power consumption
The RDT comes with its own built-in power supply. Due to the very low power consumption of the system, it is the ideal solution for applications without access to AC power. In addition to the built-in battery, which provides autonomous emergency power for up to two hours, the RDT can be powered by a 24 V DC socket of any car, truck or other vehicle. For maximum flexibility, it can also be connected to solar powered devices or to a 230 V alternator. All interface connections are easily accessible from the outside of the enclosure, and the integrated fan provides cooling for the system even with the enclosure completely closed.
Modular flexibility for extended network coverage
Along with extremely fast deployment capabilities, RDT is a highly flexible modular system. If the area requiring network coverage is very large — for example, after a natural disaster — several cases can be tied together to create a multi-site configuration using secure IP protocols. In addition, the subscriber capacity can be easily expanded by connecting two RDT carriers. Thanks to DAMM's innovative TetraFlex Group Bridge solution, the system can also make group calls to any other TETRA network or even to analog networks, regardless of manufacturer.
Full TETRA compact design
RDT comes with a complete set of advanced software tools, including remote network management and a log management system for voice and data to record, store and play all SDS calls and messages. It can even be connected to an advanced Dispatcher solution with a GPS positioning system. These comprehensive features make RDT an ideal emergency radio system.
